Marlon Bishop — Resident Synth Expert

Marlon had always been a instrument-accumulation junkie, but everything changed the day he found his father's virtually unused 1981 Korg Mono/Poly in the family basement, complete with a small plant growing inside its circuitry. Once rehabilitated, the mystical machine taught Marlon a new world of obsessive-ness. He would traverse the Earth and the internet searching for more analog monsters to tame. Since then he has educated himself in the arts of knob-twiddling and switch-toggling, and can synthesize you the fattest and nastiest sounds available in the solar system. Marlon, an accomplished bassist, keyboardist, and producer, was educated at Wesleyan University, famous for its electronic and experimental music program. There, he studied synthesis and its infinite applications under illustrious names such as Ronald Kuivila, Alvin Lucier, and Anthony Braxton. He is a freelance producer, composer, and arranger as well as resident synth obsessive… and he is willing to work for either good or evil.
