Mike's philosophy to change the face of commercial music resulted in the inception of Wonderful in 2005. Since then, he has driven the shop's success through customized service for his clients in various markets. With a background in classical music and a deep love for contemporary rhythms and beats, Mike's talent for hybridizing different genres and textures has resulted in distinct musical campaigns for many of his clients including Mercedes, Volvo, Reebok, Sears, Old Navy, Intel, Cingular, and Bacardi.
Mike comes from over 12 years experience in commercial music production, previously serving as Managing Director and lead Composer for Native Music, after holding top rank as Composer at Amber Music and Tom and Andy. He currently serves as Creative Director, Composer and General Manager at Avenida Acceso/Elias Arts.
A graduate of the University of Buffalo Honors Program, Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance and Composition. He was awarded a full scholarship for Saxophone and Piano and was accepted into the graduate electronic music program as an undergraduate. He also received the National Hispanic Scholar Awards Scholarship for music.
