Our studio boasts a large collection of vintage analog synthesizers; from well-loved classics like the MemoryMoog, Prophet 10 and Jupiter 4 & 8, to the rare but amazing Elka Synthex, Synton Syrinx and Gleeman Pentaphonic (one of only 50 in the entire world!). Although most of our synths were designed and built before the age of MIDI, almost all of them have been retrofitted with MIDI kits, allowing a measure of flexibility and convenience not usually possible with these machines. For example, you can record a performance on our Roland A90 88-key weighted-key MIDI controller, quantize the MIDI data, and send it out to a synthesizer, cycle through patches and twiddle knobs as the MIDI data triggers the notes until you find exactly what you're looking for. Or, if you love a patch so much that you don't want to let it go, we can quickly generate an EXS patch (for the Logic native sampler) that you can take home with you!
Additionally, we offer a service to people who can't make it in person: simply send us your MIDI data with reference tracks, one of our synthesizer fanatics will record several options that fit your needs and email them back to you.
